Jen’s been throwing pots with Love since 1994 and sells her work as Love Handles Pottery Studio. In addition to pottery, Jen’s maker life includes teaching knitting, baking and throwing The Winter Market PDX & several other craft fairs around town.

Sadie is a local ceramic artist with five years of experience and a background in study and assistant teaching at the University of New Hampshire. Over the years, Sadie has worked as an assistant teacher, glaze tech, kiln manager and studio assistant—roles that have deepened her love for pottery and creative growth.

Tiger and Gold is all the colors, textures, and immense amounts of sparkle that make me happy made into tiny pieces of wearable art. My goal is to always strike a balance between playfulness and sophistication but above all I strive for my jewelry to bring you joy. Princess is the founder of She Folds Paper, where she brings people together through the art of origami and paper crafts! What began as a personal way to find peace and focus has grown into a mission to make paper crafts accessible to everyone as a tool for mindfulness, creative expression, and community connection.

Lisa S.
Lisa received her MFA in Photography from Parsons School New School of Design and worked as the assistant director of a not-for-profit gallery. She has a fine art photography practice, and works in documentary, commercial, real estate and editorial genres.
Lisa’s other passion is teaching and is dedicated to art accessibility and the positive impact it can have on individuals and communities.

Ema is a printmaker and multidisciplinary artist with a love for the beautifully weird. She sees drawing and printmaking as ways to tell the stories we can’t put into words. Find her hunched over a drawing or slinging prints at markets around town.

Propagation Station
We’re Kelsea and Emily, co-founders of Propagation Station, a boutique botanical studio. We design hands-on botanical workshops, create layered plant experiences, and bring thoughtful greenery into gatherings, markets, and creative spaces across Portland.

Cookie
Cookie is a 500-hour YTT–trained yoga teacher specializing in vinyasa, hatha, deep stretch, and meditation. For years, she has shared her practice as a plus-size yogi, making yoga accessible and empowering.

Madi
Madi is an occupational therapist specializing in upper extremity health. I see post-surgical and many repetitive strain injuries daily. During this course I will educate and teach strategies for preventing a repetitive stress injury from happening to you while working with clay.

Penee
Pennee got her BA in Studio Art, with a focus in ceramics in 2018. She moved to Portland to maintain weekly in person D&D sessions and loves being a part of the community of artists we support here. She has a lot of wheelthowing experience and is always happy to stop what she's doing and come chat about what you're working on, or anything else that's on your mind! When not in the studio she's likely to be found at the rock climbing gym or being a very dedicated cat bed.

Kirby
Kirby is a multi-media artist and scientist from Houston, TX. Her passion for art became reignited when she spent a summer helping build the Houston Museum of Fine Arts (MFAH) Big Bambu Installation in 2019. After trying a few more mediums she began to work mainly as an acrylic painter from 2019 onwards before picking up sewing and textile arts, then ceramics. When she’s not in the lab or studio, she’s usually outdoors rock climbing, cooking or tending to her indoor jungle of Anthurium plants.

Carla has applied a degree in Fine Art Ceramics from Lewis & Clark into her successful Almond Ave. pottery business. Her work is all about movement and function, and made to be joyfully put to use.

Macrame is Emily’s passion. She says it keeps her sane and calms the mind. We know learning this fun craft with her will bring you just as much joy. You can often find Emily teaching or popping up at lots of area craft markets.

Lauren S.
Lauren is a clinical social worker living outside of Boston, MA. She first learned different types of needle work from her grandmother and mother on rainy summer days. In her adult life she picked it back up during the pandemic and discovered embroidering on felt. While she’s never met a craft she didn’t like, felt is her favorite medium.
