Sadie L.
Sadie is a local ceramic artist with five years of experience and a background in study and assistant teaching at the University of New Hampshire. Over the years, Sadie has worked as an assistant teacher, glaze tech, kiln manager and studio assistant—roles that have deepened her love for pottery and creative growth.
Her teaching style is playful and supportive, focusing on foundational basics while encouraging creativity and exploration. Sadie’s goal is to help students discover a love for ceramics and express themselves through clay.

When she’s not teaching, she’s busy designing interiors, painting murals, and selling her own original art.

Lauren is a clinical social worker living outside of Boston, MA. She first learned different types of needle work from her grandmother and mother on rainy summer days. In her adult life she picked it back up during the pandemic and discovered embroidering on felt. While she’s never met a craft she didn’t like, felt is her favorite medium.

Cookie is a 500-hour YTT–trained yoga teacher specializing in vinyasa, hatha, deep stretch, and meditation. For years, she has shared her practice as a plus-size yogi, making yoga accessible and empowering in Portland, Oregon, one of the nation’s fittest cities. Passionate about inclusivity and mindful movement, Cookie is now developing a dance-inspired yoga class that blends flow, rhythm, and expression.

Carolina Z. is an award winning concept artist and art director who has worked in the video game industry for 20 years. She holds a degree in Traditional Illustration from the Academy of Art University, and spends her free time painting and needle felting in her Portland studio. She is on the board of the Concept Art Association and serves as a member of the Beaverton Arts Commission. She believes that art making is a fundamental human need, and she enjoys sharing her love for drawing, painting and crafting with people of all ages.
