The sun is out in rainy PDX, let’s make some art outside! Draw Crawl is a way to take advantage of the nice weather and explore the town via your sketchbook. Meet up, walk to a few vibey / visually interesting locations and draw what you see! We’ll end up at a nice place to grab some bites and beverages, to get to know each other and share what we have made!

We will explore composition and design as we select and lay out our dried flowers on watercolor paper. In this three hour workshop we will learn linocut printmaking skills as we design and carve a rubber block, and use it to hand print a design onto a cotton tote bag. Explore inks, color, and pattern, and leave with a unique, machine-washable bag, printed with your own design. Have another piece of fabric or article of clothing you want to try printing on? Bring it! Light-colored fabrics work best and experimentation is welcome.
