Growing out of local craft markets and pop up events throughout Portland, Art School began hosting classes and more at a funky pop-up space in Slabtown Square in NW.

In Fall 2025 we moved into our beautiful permanent home at 1020 NW 18th ave., a high-ceilinged multi-room home with skylights, a courtyard and a roll-up door for letting in the fresh air. We’ve set it up in style with a large class room, member wheels and LOTS of shelves, a comfy lounge, a kitchenette stuffed with complimentary snacks and drinks, and most importantly: a wonderful community of supportive artists and makers.
